On the 6th June 2012 over a 15 hour period approximately 80cm of light powder snow fell in the Castle Hill area. The weather broke that evening to a clear, cold moonlit night (a minimum overnight temperature of -11deg C was recorded). The weather the next day was pristine- cold, sunny and windless. The following photos are from the day of the snowstorm and from the following day, including a pre-dawn walk up Long Spur with Conor Boyd. Further photos can be found on Conor's website here.
