VILLAGE DRAFT RESERVES MANAGEMENT PLAN |

The Castle Hill Village Community Association (CHVCA) Committee has developed this draft Reserve Management Plan (RMP) in consultation with Selwyn District Council (SDC), for the long term management, development and expenditure planning for reserves in the Village. Graham Densem Landscape Architect was engaged by the SDC to work with the Village Committee to help prepare this Draft RMP. At the Annual General Meeting of the CHVCA to be held on Sunday 7 March 2010, the draft RMP will be "previewed" and discussed by Association members before being formally forwarded to the SDC. Graham Densem, at this meeting, will introduce the Draft RMP with the opportunity for those present to provide comments and feedback. CHVCA members are therefore urged to read this Draft RMP prior to the meeting on 7 March 2010. Once the Draft RMP has been formally received by the SDC, it will be advertised/ released for public submissions for a minimum of 2 months. The Village community will therefore have another opportunity to present written or verbal submissions. |
