Castle Hill Village is located in the Canterbury high country one hours travel by car from Christchurch,
about 33km west from Springfield along State Highway
73 over Porters Pass.
The village was originally developed
in the early 1980's and now contains approximately
70 houses- most of these are
seasonal holiday homes and the village has only a handful of
permanent residents. The
village provides an ideal base for the outdoor activities that are available in the area.
Castle Hill Village Community Association
The Castle Hill Village Community Association
represents the interests of the home owners in the village. The
Community Association also maintains a list
of the houses in the village that are available for rent.
